On a trip from Kurdistan to Tehran with her brother, Zhina (Mahsa) Amini was first arrested and then murdered by Islamic Republic police. Although there is no autopsy report yet, her family claims she was healthy and well before arrest and the reason to her death most possibly is that officers tortured or at least beat her.
Morality police, a branch of Iranian police, is responsible to enforce Islamic (sharia) laws in the society. During recent years, severe violence has been seen at streets, specially to women and young girls. Zhina Amini is the latest victim of Morality police who was absolutely innocent, so many Iranians are angry at police and of course the whole government. Reportedly, there are some public protests in different cities where people are chanting death to Islamic Republic and the Supreme leader of Iran.
Some political journalists assert that if a big change is going to takes place in Iran, women are the key players. Actually, they are brave leader who undoubtedly show the path ahead to a better future for all Iranians. I have to say that a pink revolution is our last hope.
